I think he probably wants to say congratulations to us and to just admit that good teams can lose games, but he knows that won't fly with an entitled fan base that expect to win every home game without fail (same goes for all the big clubs).

They’ve tried a a succession of big name managers and they still aren’t serious competitors. They will always be a two steps forward one step backward club. It’s who they are. The A in their DNA is almost. Nice stadium, though.
The reaction towards him from Spurs fans is harsh in my opinion. They got beaten today by a club who have won the league title more recently than they have.

Agreed we were much more savvy today during the game. Spurs would have done exactly the same if the scoreline was the other way round.

Generally agree, but he moaned last season that not being in Europe was a disadvantage, as it didn’t give them the chance to build momentum and try out different partnerships.
Like all the Prem managers that are sniffing around the top 4, he’s a walking, whinging, spoilt and petulant contradiction. It seems to be a requirement.
Spurs fans are a different gravy as well, moaning that Conte’s football was boring even though it got them Champions League footy. Now they’re moaning that Ange-ball is naive and brainless as they float around mid table.
Beat Man City and Villa then get done by a KM masterclass.

Amen to that. I've lost count of the games we've lost to teams like Sheffield United and Leeds United that have played the time-wasting, niggly-fouling, ref's ear-bashing, injury-feigning tactical masterclass and we've just sat down and taken the beating.
In a perfect world, we'd win every game on pure class and merit, but we need to cut our cloth. Seeing us do that is hugely satisfying, as long as we don't lose our soul and the essence of ITFC.

Agree, totally.
Spurs were their own worst enemy in spots. Kept restarting the game from the wrong place or with the ball still rolling. Petulant reactions to nothing decisions.
The ref didn't give us much but have us quite a lot in the last 5/10 minutes.
Spurs come across more of an American franchise/business than a football club. Up there with the best on their day but never going to win anything.

Completely disagree with your second paragraph, I don't think that's fair.
Completely agree with your third paragraph. They should just enjoy the ride. Football is about entertainment and Spurs are probably as entertaining as you can get. You can't expect to win every week.
He’s quite often like that. He ain’t up to the job of a big club in this league. He was found out pretty early on last season. He won’t be there this time next year.
