The war is nowhere near lost . The battlefront is barely even in the Ukraine right now Russia have launched a shedload of drones but that’s about it
Even the Russians arnt stupid enough to use a nuke in the country geographically situated right next to them- that they wouldn’t be able to inhabit - which is the whole point

Putin’s been threatening nuclear retaliation since feb 2022 - how is it even news anymore?
His conventional forces are busted flush, and nukes are all he has, all their military spending was siphoned off to luxury homes in the balkans and yachts in Dubai. Half a million casualties since 2022 to take an area little bigger than Iceland from a country with a 3rd of Russias population. Unfortunately for Vlad - the US, UK, and France also have nuclear capability, so unless he’s particularly suicidal his threats are irrelevant.
The West need to back Ukraine with everything they have before the orange appeaser takes office. With the caveat of course, only as long as the people of Ukraine want to fight.

Correct IF we had supplied these weapons at the start and not drip fed them to Ukraine this would have been over by now and thousands of live saved! All you have to do is actually listen and see what pootin claims belongs to the Russian empire,if Ukraine falls its not stopping there!
We are only talking about a few hundred missiles but listening to the World Service, it seems they will be used to help defend the territory Ukraine has captured.

It’s certainly not a scorched earth policy but the timing is odd. Biden could, and should, have done this at any time since 2022 but is leaving it until two months before he leaves office.
To me it look like a political move to strengthen Zelenskyy’s hand should Trump attempt to bulldoze Ukraine into a accepting a shabby compromise.

I wondered if it's Biden's last attempt at starting the end of the war so he can have a lasting legacy and not have Trump do it and take the glory.

Add the fact that given the state of his Tanks, Aircraft and general military weaponry, you do wonder how useful his nukes are, especially given the cost that needs to maintain them.
