...to Luton apparently. Wonder if young Cam might end up getting recalled and sent there.

That's a huge blow for Wycombe. Going to be a challenge to sustain their promotion challenge.

Blow for Wycombe, but Luton you'd think would be easier for him to keep up than the risk of not going up against juggernauts in that league one.

Luton well managed, decent budget and lots of stuff going on off the pitch too.

Sad for Wycombe, but a good opportunity for Bloomfield.

I really hope Wycombe don't end up with Rooney. I'd pick Cam up from there myself.

Perhaps overly sentimental but I would be a little surprised and disappointed with this. He has been with Wycombe for virtually his entire football career and seems to be developing something really good there. Just me being naive I guess. Maybe he looks at what’s happened at Peterborough this season and genuinely sees this as his only chance to make the jump.

Ainsworth back in? Not long been at Shewsbury though I think.

Mat Sadler at Walsall may be worth a look.

Good opportunity for Bloomfield. I see him as a potential replacement for McKenna when he moves on.

Ainsworth back to Wycombe you’d think. Although he’d have to wriggle out of his Shrewsbury contract.

Gets him more experience at a higher level certainly

Its a gamble, but I think if he waits it out he can do better.

I know they had one good season, but I always think of Luton as a dump of a club.

Not a chance. New owners, data led approach the exact opposite of what Ainsworth is.

There will be more to this than just him appearing to jump ship I would have thought.

I was wondering whether he would be an option in the future. I think to be honest, I'd see him jumping ship halfway through the season as a negative when assessing his viability for the eventual vacancy here. McKenna has proven last year that you can be rewarded for integrity.

Certainly possible, Town might well like him to move to play under someone trusted rather than whoever comes in and might like him to move up a level. As things were, Kieran said they were happy for him to stay.

Gather a bit of discombobulation behind the scenes at Wycombe. Director of football/interim chairman got rid of Scott Mitchell, who was the chief scout and had been brought in by Matt. Other people were also worried about their jobs.
