I have heard some say that this fuss over her CV is a storm in a tea cup. Also it has been said that her CV was written up wrongly and has been corrected. But on a number of occasions she personally has proclaimed " I worked for the BoE for almost a decade". By my calculations a decade is 10 years. Five and a half isn't almost 10 years. If anyone else had done this such as the police chief who claimed he was in the army they would have been kicked out. I was shortlisted to be a Labour candidate in local elections. Had to provide them with links to my Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and any other social media accounts I controlled.

Think we're all well versed in stretching the truth to a certain degree on our CV's which I don't see as a huge faux pas, but when you're in charge of the nations finances that's when it becomes problematic for me.
Especially given they ran on a platform of transparency.
Maybe I'm the naïve one expecting things to change. Maybe they are all a bunch of self serving grifters that will do whatever it takes to get into power and I just have to deal with that. |  |

True. And as I say there is using the right words on a CV then there’s going to far.
Whenever I was doing a recruitment panel if I caught somebody in a lie or going OTT (like 5.5 years not 10) I’d go after them like a hungry dog after a bone. And they’d be binned at the end of it.
