Anyone else having issues with this site on iPhone?
If it’s not the huge advertisements taking over the entire screen, it’s zooming in and locking in that position and the only way to resolve is to refresh multiple times. And then if you leave it on this site for too long it tends to divert to some dodgy scam site. |  | | |  |

Also reported to Gav a while back (about the zooming in) he tried a few things to his credit but not luck, left him stumped. Still happening for me. [Post edited 30 Apr 11:37]

The redirect issue? I thought that had been resolved. It is difficult to monitor these things as they don't affect everyone. As you can imagine, am as thoroughly fed up of ad issues as everyone else. | | | |

On android, get redirected to dodgy scam sites, only happens on here. Also giant Pandora and Cupara ads taking over the screen. |  | | |

That's usually caused by someone posting a long URL in a post. When it happens rotate your phone (if you have auto-rotate setting enabled on the device, that is!) and then refresh the page. It'll load in the correct format and you can then rotate you phone back again, if you wish.
This is a problem that has plagued the site for years. It's improved more recently, but it's still not gone. I've tried so many different settings on my android devices and fed this back to Gav, but it's always there, lurking in the background waiting for me! I did find the issue gets worse if you increase the font size on the phone/browser, but it doesn't disappear totally by shrinking it down. I just gave up and do what I stated above in the end.
It does beg the question if TWTD can look into creating a new more mobile friendly site. I'm sure it would probably be expensive and time consuming but I suspect most on here would be happy to contribute a few quid to help with costs. We must have one or two web designers in the fanbase or even on the forum that might be willing to help Gav build something more mobile friendly too? |  | | |

Yes, unfortunately the zooming in and being unable to zoom out is a daily issue, and redetntly huge adverts have preventing threads being clicked on. |  |

If you send £20 to Gav he turns the ads off for you for a year. I’ve had no issues since he turned them off for me. | | | |
