Finished in the top 6 of the Premier League for 8 of the last 9 seasons and in the Champions league again next year. On paper looks a good move for someone who was on loan at Hull just a year ago. He'll get a monster pay rise and link back up with a manager he knows. Not to mention very good for his England prospects ahead of the World Cup.
I hope he gets a chance there, I think Nkunku will leave so Delap maybe takes that place as main competition to Jackson and should get opportunities. |  | | |

I’m not convinced he’s a top 4 striker, but he has the tools and potential, if he really knuckles down and applies himself, he’s going to have to get every ounce of his ability out of him to play at that level.
Good luck to him, he’s been a surprise to me and he deserves the move, whether it’s the right club I’m not sure. I think united might have been the better move but there’s pluses and minuses to that move also. |  | | |

Think this is the perfect move for both us and Delap.
For Delap: Immediate chance to start, guaranteed second fiddle, will play European Football and will likely to get England chance.

The only had 2 separate teams because of the European competition they were in. Next season it's going to be less like. If he's behind Jackson, I can't see him getting too many starts!

Mixed feelings on this.
I personally despise Chelsea for various reasons, mostly around money over the years
However out of the clubs that are playing in Europe next season they are probably the one that could offer him more of a chance to start.
Not sure it's going to be enough for me to start wanting them to do well, but I do thank him and wish him well. |  |

Cole Palmer feeding Liam Delap is a pretty fearsome prospect. I think he’ll do really well there and be England’s no.9 in a year or two.
He’s been great for us this season and deserves a chance at a big club. Can’t say I love Chelsea, but they’re all the same really, aren’t they?
