I get you don't want to condone 'violent' behavior by players, whether on their own team mate or not, so he can't complain too much.
But when you see that and then remember the amount of diving and play acting that goes on and often even gets encouraged, going unpunished, it grinds my gears somewhat.
Unbelievably soft. Pathetic thing to do but it’s a very soft decision. If players are arguing then that’s enough of an advantage to the opposition, without taking an player off them.

Shouldn’t have been sent off for that but don’t think you should get sent off if it’s teammate v teammate anyway.
It's always been the law... I said when our two were kicking off the other week that they need to be careful as they can both walk for that sort of thing!

When Sky flashed the rule up, It seemed that the point was that it was a slap to the head. If e.g. he had punched him in the stomach, could he have been booked, or is it a red or nothing?

Did it happen in the 60s between a few Man Utd players? Seem to recall watching foot rage if it when I was young but possibly I’m remembering wrongly.
