They are an utter shambles of a club.

A shadow of the club they were at Upton Park. I didn’t like them then either, but they were a proper club.
Now they’re a hulled out husk of a club, who have sold out everything positive they had.

They can sack Moyes, Nuno and whoever the next mug is all they like, but everyone knows the problem isn’t the manager.

Surprised the fans haven’t protested more against Sullivan. Should be ripping seats out of that godawful stadium.

I have an acquaintance in the village who supports them actually coming from the area. He informed me a couple of years ago that he would watch our match against Leicester on Sky, but he does not normally watch anything other than Premier League. I suppose I was meant to be impressed. I called him a football snob. I have not seen him for a while and when I do I cannot wait to ask him his viewing intentions for next season.

Awful club. I dislike them more than any other. Everything from the ‘eeest end geezers’ that follow them to the hole of an area to that horrible kit to their misplaced arrogance. Didn’t like the Boleyn Ground either.

Is the ownership there behind the recruitment? I can’t believe every (of the many) managers they’ve had in recent years have brought in such poor players, as well as failing to strengthen the core of the team.

They could be very strong in the Championship next year, or quite easily a Leicester style shambles with their owners.

That’s all true, but I really don’t get it. They beat us easily twice last year. We’re worse than that group without Delap, Hutchinson etc etc

They’d beat us what. 2 or 3 you think? Maybe more. We are miles off them, and no they aren’t very good, and we spent hundreds of millions, yet you’re talking about them and not us.

So if they’re shocking, terrible, what are we?

Do you know how little money they pay for their stadium if they’re relegated?

They have a stadium paid for by tax payers, good business if they ever get it right on the pitch - oh and they won a European trophy - I honestly wish we could be as bad!!!

1981 - out last European Trophy, were you alive?

We talk up Portsmouth who lost 5-0 because we seem to dislike expectations.

They’re stadium is soulless .., but grounds like QPR sadly aren’t for this world anymore, there’s no revenue, and it’s a game all about revenue if you want success (sadly).

If the tax payer offered us a free, massive stadium, don’t honestly think we’d say no?

Can we focus on why we had the worst season in our history last season, and ensuring there’s some agency, so if we do go up, we don’t collapse again??

We need to stay in that league before we dig out clubs miles ahead of us on and off the pitch.

What on earth are you talking about?
Their squad is valued at nearly £200m more than ours - probably around the same amount we were short to have had a real chance of PL survival.
I really don't see how you can realistically negatively compare our club and its turnaround story with the one the remaining porno brother and his fellow directors are running into the ground.

‘1981 - out last European Trophy, were you alive?’

Not only alive, I was there.
And it was a proper competition back then with many of the best teams in Europe taking part. Not some two-bob competition dreamt up by UEFA to give mid-table sides something to do during European weeks. To compare the two is plainly ridiculous.

Was I alive? Yes thank you.

As for the rest of the post, there’s no denying our shortcomings last season.

But you can’t compare our current Championship squad to what our squad will be next season if we get promoted.

And harping on about if people were alive just smells of budgie…

I said to my buddy who supports them that Jarod Bowen killed us in both games, take him out of the team and we pick up much better results.

They have looked a team that never planned for the future. They had David Moyes in there who has his own way of playing, won a trophy and then sacked him as they wanted to play sexy football. What they didn't realise is they had a squad of moyes“ style players who couldn't play sexy football. They will drop this season for that reason. A bit like you can't turn a 5 bed detached house into a 3 bed bungalow over night. You have to knock it all down, redo the foundations and then start building again.

The idea that West Ham play sexy football is absurd anyway.

Entitled idiots hanging on to a very very long distant idea from the past.

When was the last time that the spammers were known for that? The days of tony cottee et al Mid 80s. 40 years ago!
