If you’re Southampton they’ll be playing for position, who would they rather play in the semis they’ll want to avoid Millwall I’d imagine and prefer to play Hull or Wrexham [Post edited 24 Apr 22:34]

Ultimately we need 4 points from 3 games. It doesn't matter which matches we get them in but it would be nice to get them sooner rather than later.

Cant see the point in that- if they want to go up in that scenario they are going to need to play (and beat) two of the three regardless.

No, we are playing an out of form mid table at home whereas we have two very hard away games against the form teams in the division. So keeping it in our hands (for the last day) and also getting 4 points above Southampton (before that clash Tuesday) is absolutely massive, it’s really very simple. | |
