Its been a discussion point since the prem season vic.
He offers so much going forwards but at the back it is his weakness.
I thought personally thats a thought of most rather than it being hyperbole. | |

Agreed Palmer has never let us down. One error aside v Wolves where Morsy's bravery saved us.

Yes I was just adding on we played well.
That's such an unfair take on Palmer. Quality keeper and was really unlucky. One of the best keepers in the champ (he was champ keeper of the year before we got him I think). Never let us down. Just uncalled for the comment even if your opinion is he's poor...he made a good save. | |

I do think Davis has defensive issues particularly 1-v-1 so not completely unfair on Frimmers there.
Palmer thing was ridiculous.
Hey at least we are agreed we are a really playing well.

Mehmeti has impressed though. It's just the final bit missing from him sometimes.
Fatawu massively promising. Emersonn not had much but he's been very mobile. Enjoying Humphreys and he couldn't ask for a better last shot really with the CM situation. One thing he has in his favour is he's a bit in the GON mould. Makes the absolute best of what he has got. [Post edited 29 Jul 20:24]

The winger did well, Davis managed to get back and then the cross wasn't dealt with at all by the people in the box. Plenty of blame to go round or we could just say it's a friendly and not immediately jump on players.
Up to you but if you start like this and carry on I predict a bad season for you on here.

I do wonder if one of the reasons we have managed to hang on to Davis is hes a bit suspect at the back? He's superb going forward but can get caught out.
Given his contributions towards goals and assists I can only think the reason we haven't seen someone come in for him is that he hasnt (at least yet) got the defensive capability to make the step up |  |

It’s not just down to Davis. He will have been given instructions as to where and when he should push forward. someone else will have been given the responsibility of providing cover. Davis is briefed to push forward so as to exploit his strengths, we can’t push him forward and then criticise him for not being there when the opposition break out! |  | | |

No worries, as I said, you can post what you like, felt a little early to be digging out players but that's up to you.
You've got the groovy gang on side though, that definitely should make you think twice.
