Town boss Paul Jewell has made one change to his side for today’s game at Blackpool with Andy Drury coming in for Josh Carson on the left of midfield.

Aside from that switch, the 18 is the same as beat Watford 1-0 on Tuesday and drew 1-1 with Blackburn at Portman Road last week. Midfielder Byron Lawrence made the trip but isn’t involved.

New signing Guirane N’Daw has returned to France and will join up with the squad next week. Full match preview here.

Our defense has been porous for years, why doesn't we clearly needed a proper right back, two centre backs and an experienced, defensive midfielder as a minimum before the start of the season. Same defensive mistakes need new RB and CB(Smith and Edwards not good enough). Midfield to lightweight Jet to much of a "luxury"player who cannot defend or put up the fight we need when playing away.We need a Robbie Savage type player nasty and full of fight. Another quality striker needed Chops is good enough but cannot do it on his own... Jewell out??I think its inevitable if results and performances don't improve.

I can't even be bothered to point any fingers - it's also been longer than I can remember since we last had a manager/team/board that inspires us with the hope that they, a) know what they're doing; b) really CARE about Town and c) could actually be successful.
