Yes, although it doesn't seem like we have anyone ready to step up in that position. Ben Morris seems closest but still appears to be needing some more time in the U23s/on loan. Difficult I guess for smaller young players to go upfront against big Championship CBs - Connor Wickham was the last youngster we had that was physically ready for the league from an early age. | |

That's fine but we also need another wide man really. Two more decent players and I'd feel we have a chance of surprising a few people; at the moment I think our squad looks leaner and more dynamic than for some time, but also a little underprepared to do anything beyond treading water.
