Liverpool 20:26 - Apr 24 with 6797 viewsGarv

Can you do anything while watching them other than smile and enjoy?

I used to hate Liverpool during the Dalglish and Suarez years. Both were thoroughly unlikeable.

Klopp though, as a cheerleader and someone to gee up a crowd and create an atmosphere, is there anyone better?

What a goal by the way.

It's really hard to dislike them when they play like this.

As I said during the quarter final Home leg, they are the best team in the world for Home European games - and that’s because of the fans.

Unreal.

Shame about the liverpool fan who’s been stabbed before the game though

Manchester Utd have spent more than that - but they certainly don't play the same as Liverpool.

Coaching & footballing philosophy innit.

They are lovely to watch. Salah is incredible. How anyone can not like them is beyond me. Play football the right way.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

I think Salah would cover the expenditure for the past 5 years the way he's playing at the minute. Unbelievable player!

Compared to PSG and Barcelona, they have spent a lot less. They brought Salah for relative peanuts, so just enjoy it and accept that it is football at its finest.

I think one key to their success as an attacking unit was actually getting their defense in order. Van Dijk has been a big player for them.

I was in Egypt not too long ago and they are Liverpool/Salah crazy. What they kept on saying was how he has funded a kids hospital in his old stomping ground on the outskirts of Cairo......good man!

Incredible really. Before his January move, he was hardly setting the world alight for Southampton.
To think they were spending a shedload of money for him, naturally inflated because that was who Klopp wanted.

Looks like he wasn't so silly after all.

Had a fiver free bet on Lovren to score @ 19/1

He's had two free headers...good price.

Good point, also letting Karius have a run in the team has helped, even though he still makes some howlers, like the one he got away with tonight.

Not to Roma. They are playing very well though but for any of these sides to build up to this point over a number of year is a colossal undertaking financially

United have one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe in Sanchez, the best out and out striker from the Premier league in the last few years, the young talent and pace of Rashford, the most expensive CM in history, and other quality players like Mata and Martial.

Jose deserves criticism surrounding style of play.

Anytime? Blimey. That is good odds.
He really should have scored one of those. Don't think he's going to get a more 'free-er' header than he did.

This game has a last minute Van Dijk(sp) or Milner goal written in it. Exhausted Roma players.

Celtic would probably disagree.

But Anfield atmosphere is impressive.

Yeah, but Celtic are Anfield atmosphere, at an Accrington football standard.

Lukaku slows the forward play down too much.
Do you think Liverpool could carry off their counter-attacking pacey style with him in the team?
Not a chance.
