With May offering continued EU membership in all but name and Jezza’s “Hard Brexit” stance, how would you vote if a snap General election was called tomorrow?
Are there any positive reasons to vote Conservative? Surely anyone with a brain would rather avoid a sinking ship that, within a decade, will be wrecked for good.
Dont foget the fact it is they who opened the seacock on the sinking ship
I'd vote Lib Dem. I agree with them on brexit, i'm socially liberal and quite centrist economically. Plus my seat is a Tory LD marginal where the Tory won by 312 votes in 2017
Depends rather on the local candidates. I won't vote for someone I consider disreputable to be my representative, however much I may lean towards their party's policies.
On that particular issue, I'd go with May's "softish Brexit".
Ha! you've only gone and done a Dollers again (copyright SB)
Don't you get bored of doing this every day?
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
The way i see it is that he is going to the same place as you, posting in the same way as you but the difference is that he is engaging a bit more in debate. So do you get bored because you are doing the same but actually doing less
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
And free movement within EU, which is a million miles away from what May is proposing.
Poor Glassers wanders from one lie to another like his Buffoon hero.
Frankly from what Mrs May has said and from what the Leader of the House has stated I don't see how anyone can begin to understand what ending 'free movement ' will mean.
Anyone who understands trading with the EU will know without 'free movement' that trade is in jeopardy.

Same here. Lib Dem on the principal that they would keep us in the EU. Everyone else can just shut up

Now that's the sort of intelegent respose I was hoping to see when posing the question. And you are in a seat where a few votes could make the difference.

Intelligent. Response.
Condescension loses its impact when you arse it up like that.
You posting newspaper articles about Corbyn is not as relevant as evidence as Labour's policy, published on their own website. You know this though, so stop pretending this isn't just you being a childish knobhead looking to play party politics once again.

I linked the leader of the Labour Party's own words. End to Freedom of movement. Leaving the single market. When the Tories propose that it is called "hard Brexit".
He doesn't propose staying in "the" customs union. He is proposing "a" customs union.

You could call it having your cake and eating it.

Thanks for finally acknowledging that Labour intend to have a customs union with the EU and therefore are proposing a soft Brexit. Then Tories appear to have actually moved towards Labour's position but with language that stops short of speaking about unions so they remain harder than Labour on Brexit, though not by much. You can let the thread die now.
