"Ten men, makeshift keeper" - what on earth happened? I had to go and walk mutt at h-t before it got dark ...

Their goalie got sent off and they had no subs left

Lambert out I presume?

Absolutely not. The team showed enough today under his leadership of just one week to confirm he is the right man for the job. Unfortunately it’s been left too late but next season we should be straight back up.

i can see some positives, but let's be fair if hurst oversaw us lose a lead and then fail to score for 20 mins against 10 men without a keeper, he'd have been absolutely slaughtered!

Today just makes me even more angry towards Wee little Paul Hurst. What a pathetic pretend little manager he was. Anyone who wishes him luck for the future is a sap. We spent ten years ensuring we didn't get sucked towards the trapdoor and that useless waste of human gristle has flung us right over the edge in a few short months.

Waste of human gristle. Nice.

Young manager from lower leagues? Yup.
Young players from lower leagues? Yup.

Hurst made bad calls but he's not the sole reason we're here.

If we're classing Hurst as a young manager then surely Lambert is a young manager too, no?

Too late? How is it too late? We are 5 points adrift with 88 points still to play for.

A bit more purpose and intensity but we are still hopelessly short of quality. Preston looked more likely in the last 20 despite Gallagher in goal. Thought Preston were very poor. Don't want to be too negative but you've got to win games like that if you want any hope of staying up.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Hurst created the damaged team which got us into this situation. Lambert is trying to use that team to get us out. Thus he gets extra leeway.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Gallagher was a far better keeper than their actual one. His goal was so predictable though. Everyone could tell it was 1-1 as soon as we gave it away.

Hurst made some baffling decisions but today corroborated to me that the continued underinvestment in the squad is the reason we are, where we are.

It was soft, Im surprised it was given- oh well. We did ourselves no favours by letting them in the game more in the second half, but we cant go full pace high pressing for 90 minutes, I don't think any team can. We desperately need that identity upfront - Roberts did himself no harm impressing today, but it is clear he is the best of slim pickings and not the definitive answer.

The sooner we get that striker in who can make the final third his own, the better off we'll be. Lambo is the best man to steer the ship, he just needs better a couple of stronger sea men.

How sad? You happy we are hurtling to League One? I know Plug isn't. I'm not too worried by being judged by you either. The sum of your parts are not great.

Not happy with League 1, but we also have a good manager in place if we do.

It's just sad how poisonous and vindictive your post was, makes me wonder if you're happy with yourself.

...when you called Hurst a nonce last week, I hoped it was a one off.

I hope you can find some happiness. Good luck.
