I don’t understand. 17:17 - Apr 13 with 3568 views | SitfcB | Why is this so hard to take after it being done for a while now. I never thought I’d experience relegation from the Championship. Please tell me it’s going to be ok. It feels raw at the moment but it probably won’t really sink in until the fixtures come out and the league tables for for next season.

I don’t understand. on 17:23 - Apr 13 with 2937 views | Radlett_blue | I thought we were doomed to relegation after we threw away the home game against Bristol City in november. For me, a similar effort against relegation strugglers millwall in January confirmed it. All been just noise since then - some better performances, plenty of 1-1 draws against decent sides, but a team that looks near incapable of winning a football match. All that matters now is preparation for next season - the one positive is that we can now get on with that & stop pretending that we can still avoid the drop.

Every Monday morning I’m asked how Ipswich got on and it’s usually a shrug of the shoulders and an ‘idk, drew I think’ It’s good though, means I can enjoy the sunshine this evening.

this hasn't stopped me going and enjoying some of our play and the fans support of a team that for whatever reason, is just miles short in both boxes took my 11 year old daughter today ( we both go to most games) she was asking if we can get season tickets next season. made me realise that we have a bond involving our club and it seems she is taking it on from me !!

I don’t understand. on 21:25 - Apr 13 with 2338 views | Nthsuffolkblue | It will be OK Sitters. I recall as a young man listening to us losing our place in the old First Division and the club was a mess. We sold off all our good players to pay our debts and we feared the good times would never return. Since then we have returned to the top flight several times. We have enjoyed cup runs including at least one semi final. We have even enjoyed European tours (even if the most recent one was somewhat fortunate to happen). There will be good times again. How good time will tell but we have a club to support and things will get better.

It's going to be okay Sitters, trust me on 21:25 - Apr 13 with 2338 views | Dyland | I don't think it will be an immediate recovery but we will be back. And I don't mean as a struggling Championship club. We will have our day again. COYFB

Ok 1. Why will the tide turn? 2. How will the club be operated differently to start getting results? 3. The club has a defeatist mentality 4. The place looks like a heap of steaming brown stuff 5. There is no pride anymore 6. We will be everyone's big day out 7. We cant beat lower league opposition inn Cup matches for years. Why will we start in August. 8. We have an apathetic fan base that want relegation parties! 9. We got what we wished for! 10. Please tell me how we even start to turn this around? The Fish rots from the Head. The Head being Evans if it needs spelling out. EVANS OUT!

Nail on head. I don’t know why people think playing a load of youngsters next year is going to work. We need a change at the top, until that happens the rot will continue. Lamberts happy to bang the kids line as it fits in with what Evans is willing to pay, zilch, zero, Nadia

I would love it if you were right but the first thing you instill in the team is to not accept defeat surely. There is no fight In that team, but the supporters are just as apathetic so it Must effect the team. If the supporters don’t care then why should the players

No fight in the team? The reason we're down is because of a lack of quality not fight; the fight for the most part has been there since Lambert took over.

When i was in the a Chelsea youth system at 14 we were always told to have pride in our performance and how we play the game. Accepting defeat does not come into it as your pride won’t allow it. If you lose doing your best and sticking to you principles then you know you can hold your head high. We always looked at the bigger and not short term goals. We never cheated or resorted to archaic football.

Oh, the supporters care... The only positive in this whole sorry mess is a core support maintaining, well, support. It may be galling to some not to protest against Evans but honestly what's the point. Best bet is get in the ground, behind the team, and try and hit the ground running in div 3. If we're still incapable of winning come November I'll be the first cancelling my payments and protesting at ME. There are a few who've gone on and on and on about Evans on here. I wonder if they actually confront MEG about it as opposed to preaching to a load of people on the internet who kind of agree with them. @jassers @machers etc.
