I expect this is part his and senior players strategy to put the pressure on Evans.
The only thing that irked me with Lambert was claiming to know nothing about transfer money/sell-ons but then goes into detail about Harrison.

We certainly didn't owe them an instalment of £450,000!
We only paid £750,000 for him. I doubt we owed them anything and they'd have got nothing from the sale to Pompey because there was no percentage of any profit.
If we owed them an instalment it was going to have to be paid anyway, so would have been budgeted for. So we still made the full £450,000 from the sale. | |
