That’s not an answer. Why is the economy of Scotland so much worse than Denmark? Why does it need propping up?

You and your fellow Unionists have ballsed things up because you care more about nation than people and reality.

Does your plan for independence include keeping the pound and taking an appropriate share of the national debt?

Yes - unless Labour can demonstrate otherwise it’s pretty apparent they won’t be able to implement everything that has been promised without finding a few hundred billion out of thin air

As others have pointed out, the couple of billion the current government have ‘found’ is small change, and pales significantly to the amounts required to fulfil the Labour promises. The Brexit amount isn’t all that abnormal either - clearly there is significant ongoing spend for contingency on various events as BAU, Brexit or no Brexit

Even if you're correct, Labour would be able to implement SOME of their policies.

So given that we don't know what's sloshing around moneywise, and there are conflicting reports as to whether the Labour manifesto was costed or not, and I didn't ask for discussion exclusively on manifesto policies anyway, shall we just move on and discuss what we think of some of the actual policies?!

Or like Glassers is it that you actually agree with most of them?

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Although seeing as I’ve answered his questions and addressed his points that should be the end of it.
Oh it’s Dolly we are talking about. Yep another 10 pages of micro analysis because I may have typed one wrong word or put a comma where a full stop should go so actually I’ve swerved and avoided his points.

But yes, you've answered my points. Have a good day.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Except most of what I posted regarding their manifesto was posted back in 2017 so you haven’t finally got me to admit anything.

It was a great manifesto if they could actually find the money to cost it. But they couldn’t and their was a black hole of £339billion over five years.

When pushed on this McDonnell said they’d borrow it or print more money.

When you say that your work is now done is that a promise. If so, see ya.

Not sure the pound is a big issue. Scottish pound or euro makes no difference to me. And if the rUK is out of the EU by then there’s no way we can share the British pound.

National debt will be a point of discussion and negotiation anyway. Let's assume there’s a shared responsibility for accumulating such a massive debt with so little to show for it. Does Scotland also have the same 10% share of the economy even though it’s mostly focused around London? Only fair, right?

Even if we assume that 339 billion is correct it’s less per year than the “blacker hole” of the Conservative government spending, isn’t it?

That’s been borrowing about 100 billion a year, without including RBS borrowing. And where is that extra spending going? Offshore if austerity cuts still need to be made.

How many times do I have to say I'm not just talking about what's in the 2017 manifesto for it to sink in? I even gave a recent example.

"When you say that your work is now done is that a promise. If so, see ya."

Hahhahahahahahahahahaha. This coming from a man who's just said "now if you don't mind I have work to do."

It’s not their manifesto, it’s their actual record in government.

Historically too. The Tories are the party of uncosted overspending while actually cutting back on services and not investing in infrastructure.

You should have said something about that. Before worrying about Labour’s spending. It comes across as your usual slimy and disingenuous party politics.

Oh do sod off. Dolly was talking about Labour’s manifesto and policies. That’s what I was replying to. Should I have added a disclaimer at the end that other political parties are equally or worse fiscally.

And you’ve been warned to cut out the abuse. I’m getting fed up with it and If you are man enough perhaps you would like to call me scum and slimy to my face? I’m happy to meet you if so?

Are you still resident in Scotland? If not I’m planning on attending a few more home and away matches this season.
