PMQs 13:35 - Jul 22 with 4146 views | BlueNomad | What a malignant buffoon we have “leading” the country. His performance today was appalling, looking for jokes about the Russia Report, banging on about Brexit being the will of the people instead of acknowledging the government’s “mistakes” and generally giving the full clown repertoire. I can understand some people share his (loose) ideology but I cannot understand those who like him or think he’s doing a good job. I never thought my dislike of Thatcher would be surpassed but he has managed it. Her saving grace was that she was competent in the role and attached gravity to it.

PMQs on 16:34 - Jul 22 by The_Last_Baron | Of course you'd prefer May, a woman who bent over backwards to give the EU exactly what they wanted. With David Frost, Big Dom and BJ leading the charge now instead of Ollie and May, the EU are on the back foot. Also no 50 pound billion bail out from the UK taxpayer for the Covid 19 bailout which would have been the case had we still been in. May took the Tories to such depths they managed an impressive 9% in the European elections. She was no Conservative. |
Erm, Johnson putting a border down the Irish Sea is a far bigger concession than May ever made. You still don't really get what is going on after all these years.

If Johnson is a representative of a Conservative politician then both the country and party are screwed.

The answer to a very serious and important question about China and sanctions was an utter disgrace. To use such a grave and reasonable question as a platform to do an election speech about recruiting nurses and police was quite extraordinary to see. Embarrassing, unprofessional, undignified and showing utter utter contempt for parliament, democracy, and the rather serious issue of genocide.

PMQs on 14:51 - Jul 22 by The_Last_Baron | Theresa May was unbeatable in the useless stakes. Nobody has been more hopeless. And let's not forget Gordon Brown. Or John Major. As for Kier Starmer I've never seen a more charmless man in British politics. Does he ever smile? Does he have a sense of humour? A man destined for the political dustbin in a few years, like his clone Ed Milliband. If Boris extracts us from the EU on WTO terms he'll always get a thumbs up from me. |
You seem to have missed out Ted Heath? Boris may indeed get your thumbs up and I really hope it works out for you Given time I suspect Your children and grandchildren may have a different opinion on this one.

Yes, Ted Heath is alongside May. Heath was a disgusting character to boot. Callaghan would have been a very good PM if he hadn't have been dealt a bad set of cards. My favourite Labour PM by some distance. Labour were a proper party back then and had many great politicians within in.

Which was presumably one of the reasons he described Johnson’s deal as ‘worse than remaining’ and ‘not a real Brexit’. He couldn’t care less about his country, his family’s future or even his precious Brexit, literally all he cares about is beating ‘the libs’. It’s deeply unpatriotic and pretty shameful all round but I guess it’s all he’s got. Imagine your life being so sh1t that your heroes are ‘big dom’ and Nigel Farage. It’s to be pitied really. It hints of support for buffoonery and general nastiness, incompetence over competence and (unless you are extremely wealthy) policies intended to limit democracy and cause massive economic difficulties. Trying to defend them in this context is lamentable. |
Not to mention the implication of support for open and unapoloetic racism.

Keir Starmer will slowly build a quality team and take the Tories out in 5 years time. He has removed Rebecca Long Bailey at the first opportunity and will piece his own jigsaw over time.

Yeah, who’d want to be part of a €750bn recovery fund, working with our closest neighbours to try and bounce back as quickly as possible? Yes we would have had to have contributed, but as usual the benefits would have out weighed the costs. Brexiteers will never acknowledge that; they only see the costs and not the benefits.
