Edit: Actually scratch that. I misread the summary. It turns out it was after the event and to KD. Probably did the right thing telling Dyer but that's less inspiring than confronting the perpetrator there and then.

Fooking hell just looked at the 1st 20 odd, worse than I could have imagined
I like the one that he was apparently throwing £50 notes at barmaids when at Newcastle. Obviously not just here those types of stories get invented for black players
Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

I had the pleasure of seeing Kieron Dyer play for Newcastle and my Mum and Dad met Titus Bramble in 2001 when we played Ipswich in 2001 when we lost 1-0. Kieron was very kind and signed an autograph for me and Titus told me and my best friend when to catch the lads come out from the Belstead Brook Hotel.
Kieron is a nice man and I was appalled by the news and hope that he and his family are okay. My Mum used to work with his in Tooks many years ago as a teenager with my Nan. Kieron would often speak to my Mum.
It hurt me to be honest because I hoped that we had stopped racism and hearing he suffered this abuse, upset me. No-one should have to be discriminated against for their race, for their disability if they have one physical or mental.

Indeed. Makes you realise that a large proportion of the country is basically scum.
One comment seems to have removed now they are moderated. A DM reader commented that he was 'a bit late to be jumping on this bandwagon' and it had well over a 1000 thumbs.

Yep, utter scum imho.
The number of them that just outright refuse to believe that there was racist abuse is quite staggering. A few are taking the line that monkey and banana aren't racist words. Of course they aren't in themselves but they were heard being applied to a Black man and in that context they are very obviously racist. What a bunch of utter tools. It's when you read that kind of sh!te that you realise how we've ended up with Johnson as PM.
I'd always previously thought that Newcy's "punch a racist" was not the answer, but after reading those (and the uppies), can see now why he thinks it might be the only way. If you read this Newcy, you can sign me up and teach me how to punch.
*Edit - this was meant to be a reply to Herbivore & Lagos re the Direly Fail article & its equally dire readers' ensuing comments.

It's rife isn't it?
We haven't come that far, not really.
It's the same on the comments on FB. I've reported several comments on there blatantly racist but the moderators aren't interested.
I called a couple of those posters on there some nasty names and have been banned from posting for 3 days. Feck'em. They're utter scum.

If it was someone working class i'm sure Hintlesham Golf Club would have moved very quickly to ban them. The fact they are refusing to comment suggests it's someone with a bit of power and influence.

Decent chunk of change for a not especially enjoyable passtime.
Which bit do enjoy least, hitting the ball or spending 4 hours in the company of other people? Having seen your interactions on here I have my suspicions. Golf is wonderful, beautiful scenery, good company and a challenging sport
