No no not necessarily disagreeing, but as aren’t at the game, and the commentary isn’t the best from BBC Cambridgeshire, naturally will favour their side, can’t read too much into it
Today’s a team that hasn’t played a lot of football, individually or collectively, today was about get minutes for certain players, a little more dysfunctional than the rest of pre season granted, but that is a team as said that hasn’t played much football.

Scratch side is probably the best way to describe today. A lot of them players needed to wipe away some cobwebs today.

As for a serious reply, Cambridge are playing their best 11 which will likely be the starting 11 proper in a couple of weeks. Our team is a mix of players who have barely played, and is nowhere near our starting 11. |
Yes what you say is true but why is that , i'm not worried regards results but a week to go and we have no idear what our manager regards as his first eleven . Should that be a worry as one of my worries last season was that at no time did it look as though Paul knew what his first team was and we all seemed to hate the constant chopping and changing . |  | | |

That’s the bit for me. Bristol Rovers next week should be as close to the strongest XI as possible but you can’t help but worry it’ll be used to ‘give players minutes’.

To be honest, the commentary team were so bad I couldn't really work out our style. But we have played 4-3-3 in every pre-season friendly, so he's definitely sticking with the one formation, which is a bonus.
I think today was more of a run out for fringe players/players who haven't had much game time, to get them nearer to match fitness. |  |

Exactly this, the squad is filled with such average filler.
We just need to gut the squad, if clubs will not pay fees make them available on frees. Far to many average, dull, senior players;
