If I was GS, I wouldn't be selecting either of them for England duty for the foreseeable future. Regardless of their capabilities on the pitch, they're representing their country and they are both new additions to the squad. Brazen behaviour and should be condemned not just by the FA, but their own clubs. Really poor judgement by both of them. [Post edited 7 Sep 2020 13:13]

Reading comments on Twitter and some posters are saying, 'Forgive them, they are young lads with cash on their hip and girls hanging off them.' Utter BS. It's about behaving properly while representing their country. I'd be bloody fuming with the pair of them if I was GS and I'd send them home now in disgrace. | |

I doubt there was any option re sending home, eben though I suspect that would have been done anyway - but ultimately they've broken the bio-bubble that was in place to allow them to skip quarantine rules in countries.

Apparently so, I’m only really catching up with the finer details tonight. Good on both clubs with their statements too. Their age is no excuse for their behaviour and lack of consideration of others around them. Hoping GS makes an example of these two. They are probably our two most talented youngsters, even more so the message is crystal clear for the whole squad that poor behaviour and I’ll discipline is punished especially in the current climate. | |
