Wilson isn't much better than Toto, although he doesn't make such obvious errors.
I doubt Evans will want to pay players to leave in January, although cutting our losses on some who aren't going to get a game like Donacien could make sense for everyone. |  |

I think in an ideal world he’d like 3/4 players out and 3/4 in. But that’s probably unlikely.

Difficult one with the salary cap if he wants to bring players in. He would probably need to cash in on one of the higher earners, but that assumes that there is a Championship club out there who would take them. Any league 1 club may struggle to match wages because of the cap, so that probably rules out the likes of Sears going before his contract ends.
I wonder whether he will cash in on Jackson. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Donacien and Drinan moved on especially if he is the market for a new striker | |

I think Wilson is a steady Eddy but will never set the world alight. Toto on a good day is better, but he's too error prone and a bit of a liability quite frankly. KVY and Wilson gives us options, as Chambers can play centrally. That just knocks Toto and Donacien further down the pecking order.
I wouldn't be paying anyone off, we mighty as well keep them around if there's not a decent saving to be had, but if a club wanted to pay their wages to take Toto / Donacien for the rest of the season it's better for the player to be somewhere they might earn an extension, and better for us to get them off the wage bill .
I would think getting those 2 out in Jan is worth a couple of hundred grand between then and the end of the season. That's money we could put towards a loanee that could make the difference. | |
