The team stayed in a hotel last night. I doubt the logistics of staying another night would have been insurmountable had we wanted to. We seem to prefer to stack up games in hand rather than actually play, we did the same last season too whenever possible. |

To be fair, Phil said on that thread it's very possible we were investigating the possibility of staying overight. Shrewsbury were making noises that there could be issues with the pitch this morning so we may have been in conversation from that point onwards about possibilities, including contacting Northampton.
There's no proof either way and there's far more obvious things to criticise Lambert and the club with than this. If Evans comes to his senses it may mean we have a competent manager in charge when we have to play it. |  |
