Whilst it feels wrong to single anyone out I think it was Parrott. Never controlled and passed to our player once. Never got into a position to threaten a goal. Very strange from a player who is clearly technically very good.
I actually thought a couple of players did alright too - Kenlock, Dozzell, Judge and Norwood. Not more than a 7/10 but OK. |  |

All the loan players were poor imo. Matheson and Parrott were poor, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because they played well previously. They are young and will have off nights. Too early to judge Harrop based on one game, but he was anonymous. Thomas is no better than what we’ve got on our books. McGuiness was unconvincing. | |

Most of the season. But I suppose it’s a fair point that individuals shouldn’t be called out. The bigger problem by far is the lack of a coherent approach. Parrott was awful tonight too, despite a bright couple of first matches. This setup leads to mediocrity and I’m sure some of these players would look much better in a settled team with better coaching/management. We’ve see it happen with some who’ve left us recently. | |
