Left out of the squad. Is he still a long way off? Too young? Or just not going to make the step up?
I think goalkeeper is one of our weaker areas so the thought of having another Wright break through would have been nice.
Edit: I guess for this squad he is too old so would cost, but looking longer term is he just not ready or not going to be good enough. [Post edited 23 Feb 2021 9:23]

There was a thread on here a while ago who stated that the staff were totally surprised that one of our managers kept Wright on the books but released another keeper.
Cant remember the posters name or other fine details but the jist was that Wright her is no where near good enough for first team football. |  | | |

To be fair, we have only really had Richard and Shane Supple who have been the only home grown goalkeepers we have brought through? certainly in the past 40 years. |  |
