Ian Brown and the anti-Vaxers. 13:05 - Mar 4 with 2962 viewsMattinLondon

Do you think that Ian Brown is right to make this stance? Or he is in fact a typical conspiracy theorist bell end?

He's certainly a typical conspiracy theorist bell end. Presumably he's well within his rights to choose where to play. Seems a bit of a lame reason though.

He is without doubt the worst artist I've ever seen live (including pub acts). He supported the Manics at Cardiff once and was booed off. Absolutely awful. Shame really, as The Stone Roses debut full album will forever be a classic. Don't do drugs kids!

He's free to act on his beliefs. If the consequences of that are that he's lost gainful employment then that's fair enough.

He's definitely a loon though. This isn't his first brush with Covid related paranoia.

What is it with Manchester rock musicians and being pr1cks?

You've got not just him, but the Gallagher brothers and Morrissey as well in the 'awful tosser' stakes.

Manchester hasn't produced any decent musicians since The Hollies and 10cc.

It is his right to not get a vaccination just as much as it is the organisers right to make showing proof of a vaccination a requirement for anyone to attend. I personally hope more venues and activities go this way and allow the majority to stay safe.

If that is what he believes then he has at least been honest to himself.

He has lost work / money in order to stand by his views bell end or not.

I saw him at Reading once....that was enough. Poor singer, poor performance and someone in the audience made him look silly. Was very disappointed.

In the words of Mrs Badger(from Hyde) 'not from Manchester. Wilmslow'.

Apparently this is an important distinction.

Second and third are even better. Fourth a bit flat(but 'House of Mirrors' is a banger) and the new one isn't bad.

Can’t remember the third one but yes the second one is good. Haven’t listened to it in years.
