For a 6'7 GK to be beaten by a tame shot from outside the box that isn't in the top corner is criminal. For those that don't agree with me, please take a look at the goals we have conceded over the course of the season. You will note that this is not the only time he should have done better. A lot of the goals he is standing still admiring the ball going past him. We need a GK the likes of Kelvin Davis, Begavic, Wright again because I'm afraid Holy will not get better, he just isn't agile enough to be a good GK.
I stand by my post on here a few weeks back (below).
Being a Semi-Pro GK myself, I analyse every GK performances and I have to say Holy is awful. This may take a few of you by surprise but let me tell you why:
- For his size, he does not command his area at all and often looks scared
- Cannot move his feet
- Reactions are extremely slow
- Bang average shot-stopper
- Bad distribution
- Poor decision maker
- Doesn’t talk
- Loses his head once he makes a mistake

Can you explain how you plan to attract and pay for a keeper of a similar quality to someone who has 63 international caps and 250+ PL appearances to a L1 team sitting 7th?
