Impressive. Worked the channels really well which is something Norwood doesn't offer us. Shame he didn't take one of his two decent chances as would have capped his performance.
I do believe that his pace worries defences. I know Plymouth were poor for the first twenty minutes but some of that was his closing down.

Football snobbery on this subject is ridiculous. He's an average srltriker at this level, his movement and decision making is pretty poor for a league 1 striker. He's a player that needs to play on instinct and if he does that he can certainly be effective. | | | |

Thought he did well, and not his biggest fan leading the line on his own - different managers get different things out of players though.
Missed a 1v1, and put the ball on a plate for Judge. 2 key moments on a different day make it a comfortable afternoon. [Post edited 14 Mar 2021 5:24]

And that’s probably a little generous.
He did have 3 or 4 nice moments where he received to feet and laid back and then went forward, one of those controlling with his head.
His wing work, to then set up judge with a brilliant pass (having feigned he was going to give to parrot so pulled markers away from judge) was a highlight
He clearly can sit on the shoulder and the break past defender centrally and in the channel; but when he was released with a higher he fluffed his lines with a chance that he has to finish
I rate Norwood; I think he’s gives defenders a real
Headache, but he’s not getting the support and service... Cook will fix that
The court case may give his back the rest it needs... I can see Jackson on right wing,

He was in and out of the game, but most of our most incisive play involved him, and his use of the ball in the final third was MILES better than Edwards and Bennetts.
I'd have no hesitation in starting him in that role again though. |  |
