Just watched the podcast, and 10 minutes were spent hammering this forum, what was that about ?
We are surely all Town fans ? And I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen much negativity about them on here ?

Plenty of name checks in there too. Bit bizarre.

The only Muff in Town.

Bunch of bully boys hiding behind the keyboard. Come out and play in the real world then see how brave you all really are. ✊💦💦💦💦

By “all” I guess that includes me too then. Is “bravery” actually required or is that an over exaggeration?

Just tried to give it a listen but 25 minutes in and still no football, it’s not for me.

Matt Holland of all people. There are some interesting comments in the replies about his and the TT pods' 'Be Kind' stuff that they pull out from time to time.

Just had a watch too. I’m oblivious to the world of Twitter, and social media so not exactly sure on the context of this spat. Point of truth is though that if you actively put yourself in the public lime light and make inflammatory statements, you will get a backlash.

As for this forum, agree with them it has a clique, been saying the same for years but no harm done, it adds to the dynamic of conversation. They made a point about, ‘moderating a forum”...what would be the point in that? Forums are rich, engaging and diverse for the unadulterated debate.

Storm in a tea cup which will blow over when things are rosier after a nice little run between now and the end of the season.

They were slagging off Town players and making unsubstantiated claims about one in particular.

One or two people objected and the next thing you know there's some semi-literate weirdo posting on here a load of nonsense in their defence.

Thing is, he was more interested in going on the attack than actually offering any context to the original comments.

At the end of the day, the best route would have been to put their hands up and admit they'd got this wrong.

No need for any fuss.

Then the silly boy comes on here looking for a row, sending abusive, threatening messages etc. The ridiculous child.

I find it all bizarre. One defence for the abuse he gets on twitter is that it's his feed so if you don't like it don't follow. Doesn't really work like that if you hashtag itfc on your posts does it.

Especially when cruncher accused Town players of faking injury. Ideally that would have been the end of his podcasting role but he’s defended as “telling it like it is”.

They made a big thing about how he never actually said 'faking' as if that wasn't what was being implied. I have no idea what it meant otherwise and they didn't clarify at all.

Ha! I just read his tweet. “The Guv” mentioned that KVY has skipped the ‘natural progression’ of fitness return by not playing under-23s first. If he’s fit enough and looks sharp enough, why not reintroduce him through the bench rather than football at that level? Makes sense to me as we’re in a play-off chase.

Funny thing is, there are hundreds of posters on here daily and I’ve not seen one comment parallel to what Cruncher made. Delighted KVY’s back. And, no Cruncher, the absence of KVY isn’t the reason Lambert was an utter shambles.

Now while it is clearly ridiculous that KVY would not want to play for that period, it struck me as mighty odd that he got put straight in for this game with no u23 involvement. Everyone else has had a period getting back to it with the u23 for some time after a long lay off

I must admit though, it's amazing how many of our injured players never seem to play u23s before suddenly turning up for the first team. ( Not saying there's anthing in that. other than i've always been suprised we never saw players coming back in via the u23s)

We've not seen many injured players involved in the u23s

Toto, Norwood, Wilson all just popped back into the first team

Could be because we have the unofficial reserve team, so probably been playing in those maybe

That’s even worse if he tried to wriggle out of claiming that’s not what he meant. If mild mannered Matt Holland even called him out on it, I think the implication was very clear.

If you don't like what they're doing, then ignore it. There are plenty of other shows out there to listen to.

I used to watch/listen to there shows only recently stopped, Martin always comes across as a good guy but some of the people he has on is very shouty they say all opinions are to be heard but if you don’t agree with certain individuals you get shouted down. Always seem to put down other pods and content
