On a basic level, this is the classic trick of no marks trying to create beef with a much larger platform to make themselves look more significant than they are. Before this I'd never even heard of their podcast and I still have no interest in listening to it, it sounds sh!t. They've drummed up a bit of publicity though, even if it does make them look like total melts. |  |

Firstly I think you'll find they called out tgos forum....the same forum which was the cause of Phil Hams ban from PLs pressers.

I don’t think anybody does watch it. I’m really not interested in football podcasts in general so don’t watch any of them but a quick glance at YouTube shows a few hundred views on each video. Is this low or par for the course for this kind of thing?

There youtube numbers and interaction is good for what they do. Sustaining it will also be fairly easy because its all a big clique of people. They all have these nick names for each other and people just all tune in and buy into it.
One question I have for the format is what the hell happens when fans get back in.
At least you will know who they all are at games as they will all have the merch.

Since this thread was deleted, I thought I’d make it known what Phantom had been doing and his claim of being associated with them. Just so that when this all blows over in a years time, there’s no way of them claiming they had no knowledge of whatever this is. He seems determined to find out who it is so if the member eventually comes forward, I’m sure he will banish them so they’re no longer seen to be representing them with personal abuse online. Which is fair enough. |  |

Blue Monday easily the stand out podcast for me. Haven’t tuned in for a while but used to listen a lot. Good, impartial conversation and debate with a few laughs along the way. Talking Town has a tinge of lads bible to it and Kings of Anglia feels like an audio version of the IT Crowd at times. |  |

I've just listened to opening 30 mins of Talking Town and It is out of order on TWTD saying everyone is toxic etc i do not think anyone should be sending private messages and sending abuse to anyone but it does feel like they have the podcast and say what they like about players posters on here but don't like when anyone says anything about them. I just think its got silly we are all Town fans. I just think they want to be controversial and love it. Blue Monday in my opinion is best and the most mature podcast and is funny too | | | |

One of them was banging on about TWTD being vile, having commented on his kids etc. They were mouthing off about how there should be a report option and that it's poorly moderated. Phil wades in and says, there is indeed a report option and they rely on the forum members to report stuff because they can't moderate everything.
This bell then turns around and says "oh, the abuse about my kids was actually on Twitter". Not sure he ever actually apologised about that, he gave some half arsed apology about something else and basically tried to come across as "I'll let you off this time"
