In an injury hit season in an appalling team that gives the strikers practically no service, he has still managed 6 goals. I'm not arguing he's the best player we've ever had and I also wouldn't expect him to do anything in the Championship, but he does make a difference to us. | |

I think the long and short of it is his employers should expect some level of professionalism and perhaps the post is IMHO little less than professional

It’s got nothing to do with being sensitive. People are angry. We are watching the worst Ipswich team in living memory and out comes Norwood questioning the professionalism of others. This from a player who seems to be incapable of spending any time on the pitch, either because he’s injured or in Court on a drink driving charge!

I think Norwood is, overall, a bell-end - but the idea that MM is immune from criticism, because he's a Town legend, is a strange one.
The Beat (RIP) was another example - sensational player, but not a particularly great commentator.
