It is a bit odd that there seems to be wall to wall coverage, which has been bizarrely beatifying of the old boy and the reaction from it seems to have made people even more sensitive. Given he was infamous for his lack of tact (let's let the racism lie in that area) it does strike me he'd have found gentle stuff like Facters' post all right.
