Taking the fans out of the equation (god knows the owners have) - I would love to see the ESL form, and the clubs banned from the premier league, FA, UEFA and FIFA competitions. The whole thing becoming a commercial flop - then they have to apply to rejoin the league - starting from the conference.

I think it would be quite funny if The Premier league suddenly became the conscience of football and disqualified the top from receiving any revenue at all, or better yet, place a fee on them to remain part of it. | |

Qatari owned PSG may have baulked at the idea of a cap on salaries and/or transfer fees per the new ESL that their current wages / transfers would blow out the water.
