Suggesting mayonnaise on bacon feels like a borderline-bannable offence to me, or at the very least a yellow card. I’m deeply scandalised at this suggestion.

sorry my mistake - not 1961 it was 1951. After winning the All Ireland they traveled back to Mayo which involved going through a town called Foxford. There was a funeral on and they didn't pay their respects to the deceased but kept on partying. The priest then said they would not win another All Ireland until all the team had all died.
there are two left - one definitely in America and the other in Ireland who goes to the matches. 10 finals lost since the curse.
