They make amazing dj equipment. Their mixers, cdjs and controllers are ace.
I also have a pioneer cd player, which loads the cd upside down, that I've had since about 1996 and still works perfectly. Quality bit of kit.

Wasn't there something about the Britannia stand should have been called the Pioneer stand for life (or a long while at least), but Pioneer allowed Town out of that agreement so that we could get re-sponsorship for the stand?? Or have I made that up? |  |

I had a very short career at a big beat/trip hop DJ in the late 90s, doing 2 turntables and a microphone with a box of vinyl. Everything back then was either Pioneer or Technics. |  |
