I don't want to make this thread about me and I completely ignored the last thread because it just became a personal attack type thing and I don't have the time or patience for it. I reference them a lot because they're our direct, local rivals; a similar size club who've had owners with no self-wealth for god knows how long but still been able to achieve promotions to the premier league (and the relegations, of course). It's a model we should be looking to. I'd love for us to be self-funding and not reliant on any owner pumping millions of pounds into our club. It's achievable but will require the right people and probably quite a bit of luck, but there's no reason we can't do the same. | | | |
