My concern is, whilst we seem to be making the right moves in terms of players and the recruitment team, the coaching team seems to lack that strong leader away from Cook himself. I’d love us to bring in someone with a bit more experience there. | |

You rarely get players step down a division in their prime, unless it's for a big wage increase obviously...so I'm not building my hopes up here..

You say that, and I would tend to agree, but we are looking at Lee Evans (Wigan captain), Callum Connolly (Fleetwood captain).

He’s reported to be on £3500 a week so well within our wage scale especially when you consider Bennett’s was on 18,000 per week don’t know how much the club paid of that and as cook is trimming down the size of the playing squad I think the wages are going to be more than reasonable and I know it’s a step down but it might only be for 1 season hopefully then your at a club that is going to be ambitious so I reckon this is a no brainer for players coming in who are looking at the bigger picture |  | | |
