Bands that didnt make it big on 18:50 - May 21 by gtsb1966
I actually found this because I was searching for that song you couldn't remember the other week which was driving me f*****g nuts. Once I found this I added the one and only album they did to my Spotify. The album is superb.
Ha, nice one.
I mean, Flamingoes are another that should've made it, but the twins who were the driving force just didn't get on apparently. Around the time Oasis were getting big, funnily enough.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

And then I forgot this...

Mostly hamstrung by the fact that they were stroppy, awkward bastards and Ginger always insisted on filling his best choruses full of swears, nonetheless, the Wildhearts should rule the world.
This one features the late great Mick Ronson's last ever recorded guitar work before he died.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I always loved Clearlake. Brighton band, signed to Domino Records and had 3 albums. I saw them at some tiny pub in Derby (which had a massive Alsatian guarding between the stage and toilets) by the train station a week for so before The Libertines. They played Jools Holland on the first album spin but never saw them much after.

They were fairly big back in the day. And they had more than one gear tune.
I was thinking more the whole first album as being their record to be fair. Their second album wasn't as good and then they vanished (except Richard Hawley, of course, who had a very successful solo career). I own a Longpigs drumstick that I caught at Glasto '97.
