Firstly, depends on what Cook has seen in the youth, he may see a couple he wants in for the squad if not first choice.
I think if we get a keeper and a CB in, then we're not actually looking bad at all, Burns and Evans offer some quality, Downes staying would be a big positive and Norwood can and will score goals, obviously injuries aside.

It will literally depend on who leaves won't it?
If Downes and Bishop don't go (presumably on decent wages) then that will still hamper our ability to get new faces in.
I think we'll see another 3 or 4 by week 1, but we'll see developments, perhaps the inevitable quality loans after a bit longer and adjustments in January.
We'll be absolutely fine.
Even if we start with Nsiala, KVY, Woolfenden and Kenlock, i'm not concerned about our defense, that was never an issue, scoring goals was and that's what needs to be addressed, creativity and pace in midfield so Norwood isn't stuck on his own chasing the wind. | | | |
