We are definitely in for that Boro left back Coulsen.
Pabloisgod strikes again.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

This between imminent and well progressed?

They want a marquee striker too, plus heard a couple of interesting names for wide roles as well - Jacobs still likely to happen also.

We was very much after Stockley from what I gather. Was one we definitely wanted, and ultimately I think we were in for as well.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

You could probably argue Celina would meet the criteria.

For me, less of a marquee, but the best piece of business we could do this summer is Crooks. He has no business playing in L1 and while I', excited by the little I've seen of Burns, Crooks is the one that can properly move the needle for me.

I've heard absolutely nothing to suggest that is the case, but certainly fits the bill and is as attainable as anyone else who does so.

We've just signed a left back, I'd be surprised.

Yes I'd be surprised if you were right because you're usually pretty wide of the mark on most football related things

I've said exactly the same a couple of times. We may make more of a marquee signing whether that be Celina or someone else but Crooks will be the best bit of business we do this summer if we sign him.

Completely agree, he's class. We tried so many combinations in midfield last season, at one point everyone was getting a game in that #10 and nobody really looked like they know how to play there. To have someone of his quality in there that binds us, with reasons to believe he can create, and chip in himself with double figures is a complete step change from where we've been at.

Could be as many as 3 loans already ahaha some things never change

3 loans isn't drastic for a League 1 side.

I have no issue with a loan deal, as long as it is the right fit for both sides, and the player in question will improve us.

I have felt too often in recent years that loan players have come in and have been little benefit to us, and have in some cases just stunted the development of our own players.

He was absolutely superb when Rotherham beat us 2-0 at Portman Road two years ago (scored twice??) and I saw him a couple of times last season and thought he was terrific. The fact he is so versatile would also be a massive asset.

Whilst a Celina would be very exciting for the potential damage he could do at this level, I feel Crooks is the type of player we are building a team around and backs up Cook and the owners aim to build not just a team for getting out of this league but could also be competitive in the Championship. He would definitely be a focal point and whilst maybe not seen as a 'marquee' signing he would be a real coup for us at this level as he is way better than this league!

Has the making of a ridiculously good side at this level;

Hladky
KVY CB Gibson Coulsen
Harper Evans
Burns Crooks Celina
Bonne

Imagine that, I admit I felt a stirring in my lower parts at that line up.

Nice to dream.
