With what he had available at the end of last season I would probably agree, but given that he now has the rare luxury of being able to change virtually his entire squad, I can't see him going with anything other than his considered, preferred system. It's a brilliant opportunity for PC, and by extension for ITFC and us. |  |

I listened again to Mark Ashton's interview in which he describes explaining the new culture of the club to players - namely that we represent US firemen, police etc - people who "run towards adversity". It was notable that he included Norwood with two new signings in describing their 'gulps' of surprise when it was put to them in such terms. I don't think it was chance that he mentioned Norwood. I think it shows he recognises that Norwood needs to up his off-pitch antics. Trying to plead 'not guilty' to driving with such a high alcohol level is disingenious and to me reflects a disconnect with the new culture we aspire to. I don't think he will last long unless he changes his approach radically. |  | | |
