Just watching the episode where Ross meets Mona at Monica and Chandler’s wedding.
She says she works at Monica’s restaurant, and presumably she knew her well enough to be invited to the wedding…yet Monica and her never seem close during her relationship with Ross, nor is Monica particularly bothered when they split up.
What do you all think? I’d love to know your thoughts, thanks so much.

Ross is the worst character in all of popular modern fiction.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Friends is one of those shows is cool to hate and brag about never seeing isn't it? weird. Li,e when people say they've never heard of Ed Sheeran.
In a very real way, 'Friends' was the Ed Sheeran of telly. Competent well-produced and you could show it to your mum without embarrassment but ultimately rather bland and not nearly as good as the slightly cleverer alternatives that you might have had to occasionally think about like 'Frasier' or even 'Father Ted'.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
I reckon she was a sous chef to Monica’s head chef, so close enough workwise to get a wedding invite but not someone able to socialise with much outside of work so little relationship between them.
Character would have worked better if it was something like a daughter of parents friends who had been invited
Crikey, time passes so quickly, has it been a year already.
I think this topic is really a perfect juxtaposition to the relationships discussed on your second to last query before the pandemic. Interesting……well you’ll remember my thoughts on that one.

It’s all a wonderful melting pot.
Next year I’m considering a new take on Phoebe’s mystery roommate Denise.
