Have we not learned anything from the last 3 years or so?? Not knocking section 6 at all but they need to incorporate more of the old tunes we use for players and indeed singing in general, the new songs just divide the singing cos quite frankly some of them are so sh!t or to complex to make a decent song out of that people of a certain generation (those that sung their hearts out before most of section 6 were born probably) are less likely to sing them, hearing England fans singing free from desire was awful imo!
I'm all for coming up with good new songs that are simple and that you don't have to sing 15 verses before you get to the chorus, if you keep a high percentage of traditional songs with the new it will all go well!
Its also great that section 6 are now moving nearer the middle as more of the lower North will be able to hear the songs starting, the stand singing as one is f**king awesome but one song on the left and a different one on the right never works, we all know what we can generate when singing together as we really are a right proper bunch of noisy bearestards!!
