Game off due to Covid in Scotland 13:16 - Oct 30 with 1148 views | Mullet | How long until we are seeing more of this? Seems that fans are catching it at games, but can we see a repeat of last season down here? I’m guessing the Prem is the gatekeeper and it won’t be taken seriously until a team loses a key player for a couple of games.

Do you not think lots of people catch colds at football?

It was pretty widely reported that there were massive gaps in the North stand after a hone game. Snr has it now and I’d guess PR was the most likely place he’s picked it up. Having stood at Burton and Accrington the former with a bigger crowd and a roof made me feel more uneasy. I think I’ll wear a mask at games this winter. I am at school now anyway as I’ve caught so many minor bugs from people this month. Hopefully we will be spared another bad winter

Game off due to Covid in Scotland on 13:34 - Oct 30 with 1017 views | Swansea_Blue | I’m surprised there haven’t been more. I made a post about it in the summer wondering whether we’d see matches cancelled as we came out of measures and into the autumn. We haven’t seen many (any?) cancelled until now despite the rising cases. Clubs were had disrupted pre-seasons due to cases in the clubs, but the leagues seemed to get on with it. They were particularly badly affected down here at Swansea.

I was reading yesterday that Wales still has the highest number of cases in the entire UK, despite having far stricter rules than those in England. What do they put this down to?

Game off due to Covid in Scotland on 13:38 - Oct 30 with 990 views | footers | Grandad footers and mate both tested positive within the last couple of days. Grandad was pinged after going to Fakenham races, mate was after going to a lecture. All the more reason for people to exercise caution and take personal responsibility by wearing a mask even if it's not mandated.

Would be interesting to know how many of the non wearers are those who have had a tin or two since waking up. Now. I'm all for having fun.. but social media today showing various supporters travelling with open cans at 8am. I can't imagine by the time they get to a ground mask wearing Is a simple request to them.

There’s been a couple of League 2 games postponed due to Covid, earlier in the season. Premier League still got strict protocols in place for now, they reckon once the vaccination rate of players hits 85% they’ll relax them.

There really is no reason not to is there? Yet I barely see them now, even on public transport, I really struggle to understand the public at times.

Aside from 'I don't want to', I've yet to hear an actual reason for people not taking the very basic precaution of wearing a mask to protect others.

That it, isn’t it? The message loud and clear is “I don’t give a toss about anything or anyone other than myself” See also, MPs deciding not to wear masks in the commons .

My only conclusion is that a large percentage of the UK have undiagnosed oppositional defiant disorder. So much so that telling people not to wear a mask would actually make them! And although this is a spicy meatball, there is a great irony that many of these freedom-lovers who obviously owe a great debt of gratitude to WW2 veterans when we are close to honouring their sacrifices actually helped kill many of the remaining ones off by exercising their own right to act like selfish tossers. Remarkable.
