I'll often avoid the Prem scores and watch Match of the Day but couldn't tell you the last time I watched 90 mins of a Prem game. I just don't care who wins, the teams might as well be called amazon, google or coca-cola. It's all about finance and ownership.

Contender for what? If you are suggesting a strange post quite the opposite. I too am surprised at some responses. Being a football fan and ITFC I follow EPL, EFL and European leagues particularly the Bundesliga. I thought it was more 'normal' that fans would have a good idea about all leagues of English football but seems not which is just fine. |  | | |

When I was a kid early 70s not only could I name the England squad but probably the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish. Not to mention Hector Chumpitaz from Peru. I struggle with England now mainly due to lack of interest in Premier league, too many players, England being useless and old age. |
Not such an achievement, the English, Scottish and Northern Irish squads were pretty much Ipswich plus a few makeweights |  |

For me, lately it's the other way round. I've become so jaded by the level of performance and results return by ITFC over the last two years particularly that my interest has been no stronger than lukewarm recently.
