I seem to recall me and Guthrum worked out we might be distantly related once before via West Suffolk links!

Presumably Sergeant Ham of the Yard arrested one of Guthers' ancestors. Probably his Uncle Horik of Denmark.

Wouldn't have been one of my lot who felt Uncle Horik's collar. The Ham ancestry isn't from Suffolk, Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire via West London and Essex.

I once got into some row with someone in one of the local establishments and he said something along the lines of "You int even bin 'ere 5 minutes".

At that point I'd lived there a good 10 years.

Pushing 50 years now in Suffolk and in some parts I'm still unpacking the suitcase.
