Of course they don’t happen in exact priority order, that doesn’t mean people are wrong to question signing a number of players in one position where there are glaring holes elsewhere in the squad, or indeed signing a player now where we have significant numbers

Yes, let’s hope so. He’s clearly got a lot to prove judging from Pearson’s assessment. I thought our CM has been one of our problem areas this season, it’s not quite clicked, even though we’ve got the numbers it doesn’t seem to impose itself on games regardless of the combination. Morsy and Evans are our best options there currently IMO, the others haven’t really staked their claim when they’ve been given their opportunity. |  |

The priority part Flash I referred to regarding midfield wasn't that I felt it needed to be done but later in the window. But something I felt was ok and not really something that needed added to until the summer. After all it's only been a few months into the season for some of these new signings. I felt LB, CB were the 2 positions to be strenghened this window only. |  |

CB and LB personally. . LB... Penney just doesn't cut it defensively for me and not sure he will ever be capable long term and Coulson we still await to see if he can pass a few games without injury. CB - I feel without Nsiala we've lost that no nonsense CB that we'll need in certain games.
