As he's currently injured, I think even if the club was to release him, under 'due care and attention' we'd still have to let him do his rehab with us until he is fully fit again.

I always thought Nolan looked like he was trying. Not one of those who gave up. Showed for the ball even if the team wasn't playing that well. Good athlete. And could get a goal.
He could yet have a Donacien type resurgence.
But I doubt it. If nothing else the injury length doesn't look good for him.

From what I gathered from a conversation with Toto a while back, he has struggled to settle here too, certainly in his first year, and you can imagine the frustrations of injury's have probably compounded that. |  |

We don't tend to do mutual terminations on contracts, do we?
Cornell and Emmanuel got released under contract, but we were facilitating a move to another club, which presumably determined what proportion of their deals we ended up settling.
Everyone else, no matter how distant from the first team we've just kept until their contract expired. |  |
