There were talks of potential buyers buying direct from the government. The government don't want Chelsea to go bust nor do they want to be their babysitter. The consensus is that RA would be happy to do this as he has already stated he wouldn't take anything from the sale. Where the money spent from the sale would go is anyone's guess. | | | |

If you can take politics away from the issue then you’ll have to say that he has been a very successful owner. Ok, he’s sacked a fair few managers but they have been successful. New owners, might well have vast wealth in common with him but that’s no guarantee that the club will be run as well. | | | |

Run as well? Roman been chucking £150m a year just to keep them afloat, nothing about Chelsea is well run bar some bloke who has been pumping cash from ill gotten gains.
They are not a self sustained club, they have been the architects of the over inflation of wages which has sent a number of clubs under.
Take Abramovich away and they would be another Villa, without as many fans. |  |
